A QR Code scanner is a tool that reads and decodes Quick Response (QR) codes -- two-dimensional barcodes that store information like URLs, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, and more.

This scanner works entirely in your browser. You can upload an image, paste a screenshot, or use your device camera to instantly decode any QR code without installing any software.

All decoding happens locally on your device using the open-source jsQR library, so no image data is ever sent to a server.
